Clove Essential Oil Botanical name of the oil is Syzygium aromaticum L. Clove essential oil is extracted from Eugenia caryophyllata. Clove oil is able to clean teeth and gums. The oil is used as warming massage oil because of the presence of eugenol a chemical which is very warm and energizing nature.
