Watermelon Carrier Oil Botanical name of the oil is Citrullus Vulgaris. The oil is also known as water melon seed oil, ootanga oil or Kalahari melon seed oil. The oil is extracted from the seeds of water melon which are first dried in sun and then cold pressed to obtain high quality essential oil. The oil is high in antioxidants and thus prevents premature ageing.  The oil possesses anti-ageing, antioxidant, antiseptic, antitumor properties.
