Cypress Essential Oil Botanical name of the oil is Callitris intratropica. The oil is obtained from needle bearing tree of deciduous regions which are having scientific name as Cupressus sempervirens. Oil can be used as an astringent, antiseptic, deodorant, hemostatic and antispasmodic.
