Davana Essential Oil Botanical name of the oil is Artemisia pallens. The oil is extracted from steam distillation of flowers and leaves of dhavanam plant which is an aromatic herb. Davana oil is mainly used in making perfumes and is also applied on the skin. Davana is considered very scared plant as its flowers are plated infront of Lord Shiva.
