Pine Needle Essential Oil Botanical name of the oil is Pinus sylvestris. The oil is extracted from steam distillation of needles (a kind of leaves) of pine tree. Pine tree is having four types of leaves which are as follows seed leaves, juvenile leaves, scale leaves and needles. Pine Essential Oil is been used in Ayurveda for treating stress, microbial infections, metabolic dysfunctions and many respiratory problems in human beings.
