Tagetes Essential Oil

Tagetes Essential Oil Botanical name of the oil is Tagetes Grandulifera. Other common names of the oil are Tagetes, Khaki Bush and Mexican Marie Gold. The essential oil is obtained from steam distillation process of leaves, stem, stalk and flowers of Tagetes. The oil possesses many properties like antibiotic, antimicrobial, anti-parasitic, antiseptic, anti-spasmodic, disinfectant and insecticide. The herb is considered native of Africa.
