Pine Essential Oil Botanical name of the oil is Pinus sylvestris. Pine oil is also called by the names fir leaf oil or oleum folii pini sylvestris. Pine oil is extracted from flowering twigs of pine tree by steam distillation process. The trees are very important tree in the timber industry for its valuable wood.
