Peru Balsam Essential Oil Botanical name of the oil is Myroxylon Pereira. The oil is also known as Peruvian balsam. The oil is extracted from an aromatic resin myroxylon. The resin is also known as Quina, Balsamo, Tolu and Santos Mahogany. The oil is also used in the making of perfumes as the oil is having sweet scent. Peru balsam essential oil is used to treat various respiratory problems and smoothen the skin.
