Rose Attar Botanical name of the attar is Rose Damascena. Other common names of this attar are Rose Flower Oil. Damask Rose or Ruh Gulab, Rose Otto, Rose Absolute and Ruh attar. Rose attar is extracted from new flower petals of rose flower through steam distillation method. Key ingredients of the rose attar are sandalwood oil and Jasmine oil. Rose attar due to its distinct fragrance is used in making perfume of various varieties.
