Jasmine Grandiflorum Essential Oil Botanical name of the oil is Jasminum grandiflorum. Jasmine grandiflora is the another name of the oil. Some please also call it Spanish or Catalonian jasmine. Flowers of this plant gives very different aroma and so flowers of this plant are used to extract oil through steam distillation. The oil originates from the north west of Himalayas and is widely grown in cannes and Grasse.
