Cedarwood Himalayan Hydrosol The botanical name of Cedarwood Himalayan Hydrosol is Cedrus deodara and aslo known as Tibetan Cedar Wood. Essential oil of Cedar Wood Himalayan is extracted in the course of steam distillation of wooden part of tree. The tree is tall,large and conic crown. Essential oil of Cedar wood Himalayan is brownish yellow in color and is slightly viscous. It has dry, woody, spicy aroma and is slightly smoky and balsamic too. Cedar Wood Himalayan essential oil acts as expectorant, anti-depresant, anti-bacterial, fungicidal,diuretic,anti-catarrhal and sedative.
