Fir Needle Essential Oil Botanical name of the oil is Abies siberica. Abies alba is the other name of this oil. The oil is extracted from steam distillation from the needle of fir tree which grows in Siberia. Mainly the Fir Needle oil is used for treating respiratory problems and also as a disinfectant. The oil was used traditionally used to cure respiratory issues, fever, muscular pains and headache.
