Sugandh Kokila Essential Oil Botanical name of the oil is Cinnamomum cecidodaphne. The oil is also known by the names like cinnamon berries, sugandha kokila and malligiri. The essential oil of sugandha kokila is extracted from dried berries of cinnamon through steam distillation process. The oil is very popular in western parts of Nepal. The oil is mostly used in the treatment of rheumatism. The regular use of the oil over the body strengthens the body’s resistance to infective organisms.
